In modern Chinese,“ri” and “yue” are used as radicals or morphemes to form a large number of characters,words and phrases.These characters,words and phrases could be called “ri” and “yue” word groups,which are not only an important part of Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(hereinafter referred to as Standards),but also the focus and difficulty of vocabulary learning for Chinese language learners.This paper redefines “ri” and “yue” word groups in accordance with the two standards of “aggregation by morphemes or radicals” and“classification by semantics”.Based on 442 characters,words and phrases belonging to the word groups of “ri” and “yue” in Standards,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the characters,words and phrases in “ri” and “yue” word groups from two aspects of form and meaning.According to the “word-group-teaching” theory and the “classifiedvocabulary-teaching” theory,the morpheme aggregation and semantic aggregation of “ri”and “yue” word groups are established to help Chinese language learners in intermediate and advanced stages recognize and memorize “ri” and “yue” word groups,establish Chinese vocabulary network,master Chinese vocabulary learning strategies,and also provide methodological suggestions for the construction of similar word groups and vocabulary teaching.This paper consists of four chapters in addition to the introduction and conclusion.Firstly,comparative analysis method is used to study the word meaning and its meaning extension path of “ri” and “yue”,so as to provide a basis for the teaching order of word semantic items in the “ri” and “yue” word groups.To stimulate the interest of Chinese language learners,the second chapter also research on time,philosophy,and literary concepts related to “ri” and “yue” to provide a basis for the cultural teaching of “ri” and“yue” word groups.Then,the third chapter adopts the statistical analysis method,on the basis of the statistics of “ri” and “yue” word groups in the vocabulary of Standards,and classifies “ri” and “yue” word groups from the perspectives of semantics and structure,so as to provide a basis for the construction of “ri” and “yue” aggregations and vocabulary teaching later.Then,according to the teaching needs,the fourth chapter further divides the three types of words in the “ri” and “yue” word groups into several morpheme aggregations and semantic aggregations from the perspectives of word form and word meaning,and summarizes the aggregation construction path of such word groups.Finally,based on teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the fifth chapter explores aggregations’ teaching content of the “ri” and “yue” word groups and provides teaching suggestions.It is determined that aggregations’ teaching content of “ri” and “yue” word groups can be composed of three parts: “ri” and “yue” semantic and culture teaching,“ri” and “yue”morpheme aggregations teaching,and “ri” and “yue” semantic aggregations teaching.According to the characteristics of “ri” and “yue” word groups and the requirements of“classified-vocabulary-teaching”,the teaching of this type of word groups can start from the teaching of semantic and culture,and start teaching through word formation,culture related to Chinese character,calligraphy and games about Chinese character etc.The teaching of this type of word groups could use radical teaching and semantic teaching as a link,construct a radical semantic network structure diagram,and show the main collocations of words to teach morpheme aggregations.The teaching of this type of word groups could also use semantic teaching as an important component.Word formation and word form interpretation could be used,and context can be provided to learn vocabulary usage and to encourage the communication of Chinese language learners.This paper takes the “ri” and “yue” word groups in the vocabulary list of Standards as the research object,analyzes the vocabulary in Standards from the perspective of word groups,and discusses the method of word group teaching with “classified-vocabularyteaching”,which provides new ideas for the teaching Chinese vocabulary as a foreign language,and also provides a reference research method for the study of similar word groups. |
