| "The Warring States School,also known as the Warring States School,was a relatively important academic school that emerged during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and was active in the southwestern rear,sponsoring such periodicals as Warring States Policy,Ta Kung Pao-Warring States Supplement and National Literature,which published such major ideas as They published their main ideas such as "The Warring States Period Revisited","The Third Week of Chinese Culture" and "The National Literary Movement".The name "Warring States School"came from the left-wing writers who criticised it so fiercely that it gradually became an agreed term in academic circles.In the 1930 s and 1940 s,resistance to Japan was the main theme of society,and national consciousness and national spirit played an important role in leading the survival of the country.The various theoretical views of the "Warring States School",which were mainly directed towards the reconstruction of Chinese culture,are a category of social thought that cannot be forgotten at that time.This article takes this particular era as a background,and uses the polemics between left-wing writers and scholars of the "Warring States School" as the main line,attempting to depict the general lineage of the growth of the "Warring States School" in the midst of criticism,combined with the specific academic views of the scholars,to present an image of an academic group that grew up in the midst of battle.The paper also attempts to present an image of the academic community that grew up in the midst of battle,and to evaluate the overall historiographical characteristics of the "Warring States School" in relation to specific historical facts.At the same time,from the standpoint of the "Warring States School" as a whole,this article takes the criticism of the "Warring States School" from the outside world and its own response as the main thread,and describes the intellectuals,with Lei Hazong,Lin Tongji,Chen Quan,He Yongji and He Lin as their main representatives.Although some of their views were too radical and drew fierce criticism from some outside scholars,when we step into the academic perspective and take academic understanding as the basic starting point and the cultural development of modern China as our guide,the "Warring States School " and its theoretical ideas will then emerge from the dust of political criticism to reveal the longevity of its academic value. |
