Study On Variation Of Rural Dialect Accent In Wuyang County,Henan Province

Sociolinguistics believes that language is a dynamic system in constant variation,and social factors are the important conditions for language variation.This paper takes Wuyang rural dialect as a case study and the rural population of Wuyang County as the research object.From the perspective of sociolinguistics this paper investigates the accent of Wuyang rural dialect through field research methods such as recording and questionnaire and uses SPSS26.0software to make statistics analysis and description of the survey results so as to explore the accent variation of Wuyang rural dialect and summarize its variation characteristics.In order to explore the influence factors of Wuyang rural dialect accent variation.The paper consists of four parts: Chapter 1 introduction,which introduces the research background and significance of this paper,the research status of dialect variation at home and abroad and the research status of Henan dialect,and explains the innovation points and methods of this paper.In addition,the survey design and sample sampling of this paper are expounded.Chapter two rural dialect accent and its variation in Wuyang County.The characteristics of Wuyang County dialect are summarized,and the variation of rural dialect accent in Wuyang County is sorted out,and the variant pronunciation is established as the standard variant,the original pronunciation is non-standard variant.Based on this,the paper expounds the overall situation of the variation of rural dialect accent in Wuyang County from three parts: initial,final and special character.It can be found that the dialect accent of Wuyang County has undergone obvious variation,which is obviously close to the standard variation of Mandarin standard sound.Chapter three is the analysis of social variables of accent variation.Starting from three parts of initial,final and special character,cross analysis is carried out with six social factors respectively,including gender,age,education level,occupation,region and travel experience,to explore the correlation between each phonetic variable and each social variable.The fourth chapter is the characteristics and influencing factors of accent variation.Based on the analysis results of initial,final and special character variation,this paper summarizes the following characteristics of accent variation in Wuyang County: One the one hand,the accent variation in Wuyang rural dialect is an ongoing change;On the other hand,Wuyang rural dialect accent is close to the standard pronunciation of Putonghua.This paper probes into the influencing factors of accent variation in Wuyang rural dialect from both internal factors and external factors.The internal factors are mainly the result of the self-evolution of the language system and the influence of the principle of pronunciation labor saving.The external factors mainly include the popularization of Putonghua,language contact,school education and the influence of mass media.
