Li Lian was a litterateur in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,who made some achievements in the fields of literature,history,local Chronicles and medicine.He had a rich life experience and a wide circle of friends.He served successively in Mianyang,Ningbo Tongzhi and Shanxi,where he served as an official for eleven years.At the age of 38,he was dismissed from office for libel.After returning home,he kept writing,practical studies,and wrote numerous and rich books.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter studies Li Lian’s family and life.The first part combs the family background,studies the family history of Li’s family,not only discusses the reasons why his family has been passed down by doctors for several generations,but also clarifies the development of Li’s family.The second part is Li Lian’s life experience.Taking time as a clue,it starts from Li Lian’s childhood and ends in his old age.He is bright since childhood.When he was young,he made many friends.He often traveled together and wrote poems.Bumpy official career,because of the "relation by marriage" of the reason shall not be the Beijing official,in the Beijing view of the Ministry of government two years;He served successively in Mianyang Zhizhou,Ningbo Tongzhi,and Shanxi Jianzha,where he was defamed for his outstanding political achievements and was dismissed from office and returned home.After returning home,he live in complete seclusion,devoted to writing.The second chapter is Li Lian’s intercourse.Li Lian has a rich life experience and a wide circle of friends.This chapter starts from each stage of his life to sort out his circle of friends.From his schooling to his retirement at home,Li Lian had the most frequent contacts when he was an official.He kept close contact with his peers,predecessors and colleagues in official circles.Li Lian left a lot of social poetry,his works can present an objective and true image.The third chapter is Li Lian’s research.Li Lian’s works are multi—faceted and distinguished in literature,history and medicine.Li Lian’s works are mainly divided into three categories: collection Department,History Department and sub—department.There are six anthology books and one review book.There are seven books on history;Subcategory author four books.Li Lian is also a publisher,with more than two dozen books.Based on Li Lian’s life,political career experience and writings,this paper attempts to understand and interpret Li Lian’s complete life path and present a relatively complete Li Lian.The existence value and significance of Li Lian and his works can be fully explored.Li Lian was not only a true portrayal of the middle and lower officials of the Ming Dynasty,but also an important representative of the literary circle of Kaifeng in the Ming Dynasty,playing an important role in literature and society in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.
