The Evolution Of The Chinese Communist Party’s Perception Of Traditional Culture And Contempory Implications

From the perspective of modern history,China’s modernization has gone through the process of exploring artifacts-institutions-culture,from the surface to the inside,from the shallow to the deep.The historical answer to the question of "where is China going" has come down to the question of "where is traditional Chinese culture going? This thesis takes"critical inheritance" as the central axis,highlights the subjectivity of the Chinese Communist Party in understanding and dealing with traditional culture,and seeks to reveal the ups and downs of the Chinese Communist Party’s cognitive attitude toward traditional culture and the reasons behind it under the general principle of critical inheritance,with a view to exploring the laws of the Chinese Communist Party’s understanding and providing insights for how to scientifically The purpose of this study is to find out the laws of the Chinese Communist Party’s understanding and to provide insight into how to scientifically grasp the relationship with the excellent Chinese traditional culture in the future.The main text is developed in four parts.The first part is a study of the CPC’s general principle of "critical succession" to traditional culture.This part focuses on the doctrinal support,ideological and cultural background of the general principle of "critical succession" and the connotation of "critical succession.The second part is a study of the changes in the attitude of the Chinese Communist Party toward traditional culture after the founding of New China.Based on the historical development,the CPC’s attitude toward traditional culture in different periods of social development is examined historically,starting from the new cultural policies proposed by each Party Central Committee leadership group.The third part focuses on the "two creations" proposed in the new era.The "two creations" are in line with Mao Zedong’s "two hundred" and Deng Xiaoping’s"two-for-one" direction,and are an important part of the contemporary Chinese Communist Party’s Marxist view of cultural inheritance.By examining the scientific connotation of the "two creations",the direction of the "two creations" and the path to its realization will be clarified.The fourth part is a contemporary revelation of the evolution of the Communist Party’s perception of traditional culture.This part outlines and summarizes how traditional culture should be treated in the new era by combing the previous contents from the following three levels: insisting on a scientific attitude,deepening the understanding of the general principle of "critical inheritance",and insisting on cultural self-confidence and cultural consciousness to promote the development of traditional culture.
