A Study On The Relevance Of Contemporary Writing Oil Painting To The Writing Spirit Of Literati Painting

Contemporary oil painting is a product of the collision and fusion of traditional Chinese painting and Western painting,and is an academic phenomenon of contemporary Chinese painting.With the development of contemporary oil painting,the spirit of traditional Chinese painting and Western modern oil painting are closely integrated,among which,literati painting can best highlight the painter’s cultural and literary cultivation,and literati painting advocates the meaningfulness,and the spirit of literati painting has a profound influence on contemporary oil painting.In addition to the original artistic expression of oil painting,contemporary oil painting has been integrated into the spirit of traditional Chinese literati painting,which has driven the development trend of nationalization,diversification and individualization of contemporary oil painting style in China.Therefore,from the relationship between contemporary oil painting and the spirit of literati painting,we will explore the inner connection between the two.Taking this reflection as the research vein,this paper explores the research on the correlation between contemporary realistic oil painting and the spirit of literati painting.The main text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is on contemporary oil painting and the spirit of literati painting,which focuses on conceptual exposition.The second chapter discusses the similarities and differences in the presentation of contemporary oil paintings and the spirit of literati painting,discussing the same factors in terms of picture mood and language expression,and exploring the differences between them in terms of the evolution of the unitary culture of literati painting and the collision and fusion of multiple cultures in contemporary oil paintings.The third chapter discusses the influence of the spirit of literati painting on contemporary oil paintings,from the creative principle of "learning from the outside and getting the heart",the concept of "writing the gods with the form" and "moving the mind",and the concept of "the subtlety is in the resemblance and the subtlety".It analyzes and studies the influence of contemporary oil paintings on four levels: the creative principle of "learning from the outside and getting the heart",the stylistic concepts of "writing the spirit with the shape" and "getting the idea from the mind",the aesthetic rule of "the beauty lies between like and unlike",and the aesthetic cultivation of "vividness",explaining their meanings,and giving examples to demonstrate the different levels shown in the works of representative artists of contemporary oil paintings.The fourth chapter discusses the inspiration brought to the author’s creation by the study of the correlation between contemporary realistic oil paintings and the spirit of literati painting,combining the author’s personal works during his postgraduate studies,and discussing three aspects: the inspiration of artistic concept,the inspiration of viewing style,and the inspiration of language expression.
