| The case study of pragmatic markers is a major research direction in the current academic field.Through studying relevant literature,we find that there are relatively few case studies on the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)".Based on theories such as textual linguistics and grammaticalization,this article conducts a case study of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)".In modern Chinese,mainly elaborating on the definition and classification of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)",its use functions,and its diachronic evolution process and motivation.During the research process,attention was paid to the combination of structure and function,and the combination of diachronic and synchronic.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing previous opinions and referring to various classification standards for pragmatic markers,it is believed that pragmatic markers"Zhengshi(正是)"can be divided into emphasis pragmatic markers,summary pragmatic markers,and identification pragmatic markers.Secondly,currently,the use of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"in academic circles is mainly focused on the study of written language,and few people have studied the specific performance of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"in daily oral communication environments.This study does not confine itself to a single data source of text,expanding the data source to both spoken and written language data.It focuses on analyzing and exploring the specific pragmatic expressions of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"in different language environments from the perspectives of modern interpersonal interaction and discourse construction,with a view to more comprehensively explaining the use characteristics of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)".The study found that the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"mainly manifests itself in interpersonal functions such as summary,evaluation,and assertion,while in textual functions it mainly manifests itself in two aspects:cohesion and coherence.Finally,the current academic discourse on the evolution of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"is not exhaustive.The main focus is on the evolution of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"in modern times,with few discussions on the complete development of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"from ancient times to modern times and then to modern times.This article has combed the evolution path of the pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"in detail,analyzed its grammatical,semantic,and pragmatic changes in various periods,and found that the main reasons for the formation of"Zhengshi(正是)"are prominent prospects,semantic emptiness,and economic principles of language;The evolution mechanism is non categorization,subjectivism,and contextual absorption.We believe that it began to develop in the Sui and Tang dynasties and stabilized as an emphatic pragmatic marker in the Tang and Song dynasties;"Zhengshi(正是)".emerged as a summative pragmatic marker during the Tang Dynasty and steadily developed into a summative pragmatic marker during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties;The identification pragmatic marker"Zhengshi(正是)"sprouted in the Sui and Tang dynasties and basically took shape in the Ming and Qing dynasties.They have been used since stable molding. |
