Research On The Inheritance And Practice Of Contemporary Wuyi Lacquer Decoration Technique

"lacquer" is a symbol of traditional national culture and aesthetic spiritual symbol,which carries the rich creative wisdom and aesthetic taste of the ancestors.The decoration of primitive utensils with lacquer shows the transformation of concept from practical function to aesthetic consciousness after people’s low-level needs are met.On the one hand,it relies on the technical traditions and combines the practical experience of craftsmen with their own aesthetic experience;On the other hand,through the spiritual tradition,people’s folk life and cultural connotation can be developed and continued in the form of materialization,so as to strengthen people’s identity.Wuyi lacquer painting technology is an important part of the development of Zhejiang lacquer art system.The core process is to paint,depict and inlay.The materials used are raw lacquer after drying,baking,and mixed with boil tung oil.The inheritance of skills mainly relies on the Zhong Hongyun family.Years of practical experience and different ways of internal and external inheritance affect the inheritance and development of this skill.Therefore,this paper takes the inheritance subject Zhong Hongyun and his family members as the core,and conducts interviews with the Zhong Hongyun family as well as the current apprentice.From their related life experiences,it can be known that Zhong Hongyun entered the lacquer industry due to the influence of the times and personal survival needs,after he graduated from the teacher,he refined his skills and maintained his life through traveling;His wife Xu Delan and son Zhong Qijun were influenced by the family atmosphere,thus forming the core family inheritance model of Wuyi lacquer painting skills.In the process of intergenerational inheritance of skills,skills are often taught through the teacher ’s unified precepts and actions.However,different individuals show differences in the mastery and development of skills.This is because,at the aspect of knowledge,there are subjective and objective differences in the content system of inheritance;at the aspect of inheritors,closeness and distance in social relations affect the willingness of the inheritors to teach,and the subjects of inheritance also have different personalities and aesthetics;At the social level,factors such as the design orientation of consumer aesthetics and intangible cultural heritage policies will have an impact on the practice of inheriting skills,thus forming the current inheritance of Wuyi lacquer painting skills.This article sorts out the overall inheritance of Wuyi lacquer painting techniques,discusses the role of inheritors in its current inheritance model,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for its future development.
