An Analysis Of The Narrative Focus Of Domestic Realistic Films In The New Era

Realistic film is an important part of domestic film.Since the new era in 2012,most of the home-made realistic films are typical and representative,and can reflect the social reality at the same time.Based on Jeanette’s focusing theory,this paper will explain and analyze the concepts and characteristics of inner-focusing narrative and zero-focusing narrative.At the same time,this paper attempts to link the theory of focus with the new era of domestic realistic film,analysis of this theory applied to realistic film and the creation of specific results,thus further analysis of the different narrative focus on the new era of domestic realistic film authenticity.The study of narrative focus is not only an important research topic in the field of film narratology,but also a guide and reference for realistic film creation since the new era.This theory can not only guide the creation of realistic films,but also show the truth of the characters’ perspective,the creator’s perspective and the truth of the story with different focus types.This article is divided into three parts.The first part mainly analyzes the character traits constructed by internal focus narrative,from three perspectives: fixed internal focus,indefinite internal focus,and multiple internal focus.These three different types of internal focus narratives each have their own characteristics and will also be reflected differently in movies.The article combines personal graduation works with the integration of domestic realism films in the new era,and elaborates on these three types of internal focus narratives in detail.The second part analyzes the omniscient perspective of zero focus narrative presentation,from three levels:omniscient perspective,omniscient characters,and omniscient plot.These three aspects are the overall principle of zero focus narrative,applicable to all types of movies.For realist films,these three aspects make them portray characters,narrate stories,and showcase differences from a realistic perspective.The third part explores the relationship between focus and reality in realist films,starting from internal focus and zero focus,analyzing the real life presented by zero focus narrative and the real characters presented by internal focus narrative.To further consider and study the authenticity of realistic films.
