| The construction of the aesthetic culture of Chinese landscape grows from the practice and theoretical summary of the aesthetic appreciation of the landscape in the past dynasties.In the ancient Chinese landscape culture,the landscape aesthetics of the Ming Dynasty has unique aesthetic experience and life content,which is mainly reflected in the magnificent landscape travel notes of the literatis of the Ming Dynasty.One of the prominent features is that Fengshui theory has become the method of viewing mountains and waters.Thus,the landscape theory of the Ming Dynasty can be better constructed by combining the landscape travel notes and the Fengshui theory.On this basis,the aesthetic characteristics of the landscape in the Ming Dynasty are highlighted as the emotional identification of the state power and geography,the recognition of the sense of space and home of the landscape,and the pursuit of the ideal state of the unity of nature and man.When it comes to the types of landscape aesthetics,it constructs five main types of landscape aesthetics,which are grand,magnificent,vulgar,spiritual and elegant,together with the aesthetic tastes of literatis and cultural trends.The first part of the thesis discusses the general aesthetic appearance and new quality of landscape in the Ming Dynasty.In the form of tables,the author makes data statistics and analyzes the characteristics of the aesthetic vision,aesthetic mentality and Fengshui elements embodied in the landscape travel notes of the Ming Dynasty,and visually displays the general picture of the landscape aesthetics of the Ming Dynasty,that is,the distance traveled and the addiction,as well as the deepening of the landscape aesthetic consciousness.A preliminary analysis of the new vision of landscape aesthetics in the Ming Dynasty lies in the connection between landscape travel notes and Fengshui thoughts.As a landscape aesthetic element,Fengshui is involved in the landscape aesthetic practice of the Ming Dynasty.The second part of the paper discusses the Fengshui theory,which is the basic component of the Ming Dynasty’s landscape travel notes,and presents the history of the Fengshui theory,mainly its appearance and characteristics in the Ming Dynasty.Taking the book Dili Renzi xuzhi,a collection of the Fengshui theory in the Ming Dynasty,as an example,it discusses it from point to area.This section focuses on what Fengshui is,what is the characteristics of Fengshui in the Ming Dynasty,and how it relates to the society of the Ming Dynasty.The third part discusses how Fengshui relates to the aesthetics of landscape in the Ming Dynasty.This paper discusses the commonality between Fengshui and landscape aesthetics in the aesthetic dimension,mainly from four aspects: the worship of mountains and rivers,the beauty of the realm,the beauty of form and the beauty of ecology displayed by Fengshui.In addition to the social context,Fengshui has the dimension of landscape aesthetics and can be integrated into landscape aesthetic practice.The fourth part discusses in detail the interaction between the scholars of the Ming Dynasty and the Fengshui in the aesthetic appreciation of the landscape,that is,how the literatis of the Ming Dynasty travel the landscape,how to evaluate the landscape,and how to describe the landscape based on the Fengshui theory.The influence of Fengshui on landscape aesthetics in the Ming Dynasty is mainly reflected in two dimensions: thinking mode and concrete practice.At the thinking level,it is reflected in the Ming literatis’ evaluation and yearning for the "sense of home" of the landscape space under the influence of the Fengshui vocabulary to construct the image of mountains and rivers,identify with the national orthodoxy,and the Fengshui treasure land model;At the practical level,it is reflected in the observation and examination of the landscape space under the influence of the Fengshui pattern.The fifth part shows the main types of landscape aesthetics in the Ming Dynasty.The purpose of clarifying the five main aesthetic types of landscape in the Ming Dynasty,namely,grand,magnificent,vulgar,spiritual and elegant,is to implement the intertwined influence of Fengshui and landscape aesthetics in the Ming Dynasty to the beauty of landscape in the Ming Dynasty,which is the summary of the overall aesthetic appearance and aesthetic characteristics of landscape in the Ming Dynasty. |
