Study On The Music Culture Of The Five Palaces Tunes Of Xiangshui

As one of the important cultural birthplace of the Chinese nation,Jiangsu Province has rich and diversified cultural types and regional characteristics.It enjoys the reputation of "the State of Auspice and Thailand" and "the State of Constant Music",and has nurtured unique local music.In particular,Xiangshui County,Yancheng City in northern Jiangsu Province,has densely developed waterway traffic,a long and unique Huai salt culture,and it is connected to Yangzhou culture in the south and Haizhou culture in the north,giving birth to the unique Xiangshui Five palace tunes.The Five Palaces Tunes of Xiangshui,also known as "The Five Great Palace Songs of Xiangshui ",originated from Zhugong Diao of Song and Yuan Dynasties and is an important part of the folk songs of Ming and Qing Dynasties.After spreading to Xiangshui County and surrounding areas,folk music forms with strong regional characteristics have been formed through the singing practice of folk artists,combined with the local language and influenced by the aesthetic taste of local literati.Xiangshui Wudongdiao was included in the intangible Cultural Heritage protection list of Yancheng City in 2010,and in the third batch of intangible cultural heritage protection list of Jiangsu Province in 2011.which is a step by step revival of the ancient music.Based on the musical culture research of the Five Palaces Tunes of Xiangshui,this paper studies the general situation,artistic characteristics,comparative study,inheritance and development of the Five Palaces Tunes of Xiangshui by applying the relevant professional knowledge of ethnomusicology,morphology of traditional Chinese music,music communication and so on.Through visiting inheritors and performers,a comprehensive comparison of the Five Palaces Tunes of Xiangshui and its series of forms is made to reveal the internal causes of its spread.At the same time,combined with the current situation of preservation of cultural archives,development of inheritance groups and inheritance of cultural facilities of the Five Palaces Tunes of Xiangshui,the pain points and difficulties in the subsequent development of the Five Palaces Tunes of Xiangshui are summarized,and the healthy and sustainable living inheritance of the melody is promoted.
