| Wang Shimin,as the leader of the "Four Wang" in the painting circle in the early Qing Dynasty,inherits Dong Qichang’s aesthetic ideology of painting,takes Huang Gongwang as the model of his teaching method,upholds the art law that pays attention to the temperament in the order of teaching,and follows Wang Hui,Wang Yuanqi,Wu Li and other outstanding students,inheriting the essence of the painter’s orthod and having a far-reaching influence.Wang Shimin lived on "ancient law" all his life,and reached perfection in his later years.His representative work Du Fu Poetic Album reflects his change of inheriting the ancient and bringing forth the new,with the meaning of "neutral and elegant,plain and free" presented in the picture,which has great reference and guiding significance for the author’s creation practice.Based on the exploration of the general characteristics and origin of Wang Shimin’s late painting style,this thesis makes a comparative study of his life’s friends and painting learning experiences,and combines his painting works of different periods.Taking Du Fu’s Poetic Album as the starting point,this thesis makes an in-depth analysis of how his painting style is reflected in his painting language and techniques such as artistic conception,composition,brush and ink,and color.In this process,the author continues to deepen his knowledge and understanding of traditional landscape painting brush and ink,in order to apply the research in the author’s own creation practice,and on this basis can have some growth. |
