Research On The Application Of Steampunk Elements In Decorative Painting

The steampunk-style paintings are rich and full,with unique shapes,showing retro,magical patchwork and mechanical aesthetics.This paper discusses the artistic characteristics of steampunk,analyzes the emotional expression and picture effect reflected in the creation of decorative paintings from the three aspects of element use,color expression and picture atmosphere,and conceives on this basis to create the "Butterfly Dream" series of decorative paintings.The work takes the appearance of butterflies as the main body,combined with steampunk elements,showing the contrast between reality and magic,rigidity and femininity,aiming to try to create contemporary steampunk paintings from the perspective of traditional Chinese painting,realize new forms of expression on the basis of traditional Chinese decorative painting,and convey the beautiful vision of harmonious coexistence between social development and nature through the works.
