| With the unprecedented changes in the international community in a century,the international energy field is undergoing unprecedented profound adjustments.The supply of oil and gas has gradually formed a new pattern of "two belts and three centers".The United States has achieved a major strategic turning point of energy independence through shale gas revolution,which has changed the basic pattern of international energy geopolitics.The governance structure of energy market is gradually dominated by the United States,and the third wave of energy transformation with new energy as the core is coming.Energy plays an important role in China’s production and development,and the development of energy will inevitably cause damage to the environment.As a responsible big country,China has put forward the "double carbon" climate action target,which is an important strategic deployment made by the CPC Central Committee on the basis of scientific judgment on the geopolitical situation of world energy and China’s energy development and security issues.It is a process in which economic development is gradually decoupled from carbon dioxide emissions until absolute decoupling.The formulation of this target is a positive response and solemn commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement,and it is a global climate governance.The deep-seated problem of "double carbon" target is energy.The key to the energy problem lies in safety.There are many potential threats to China’s energy geopolitical security.Because energy depends on foreign imports,there is a potential risk that the political turmoil in energy importing countries and transport countries will impact the geopolitical security of energy.After the completion of "energy independence" in the United States,relying on political hegemonism and power politics to disrupt the energy market order will also have an impact on China’s energy geo-security.In view of these security problems,based on the "double carbon" background,China needs to actively participate in global energy governance,help deepen international cooperation in low-carbon technologies,ensure the supply security of traditional energy while developing new energy,and promote energy independence and transformation.Under the guidance of Community of Shared Future for Mankind’s concept,China should strengthen the high-quality development of "the belt and road initiative" platform,build a community of energy destiny,accelerate the realization of "double carbon" goal,and build a green barrier for China’s energy geopolitical security. |
