A Study On Emotional Issues In Ranciére’s Theory | Posted on:2024-07-04 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y Meng | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2555307163976709 | Subject:Chinese Language and Literature | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Ranciére’s key conception "sensible distribution" aims to delve into the experiential world and examine the differences in subjectivity among different groups.Emotional issues serve as a bridge between "sensible distribution" and biopolitics.Due to the self-relevance of emotional activities,emotional activities are an important activity that affects people’s experience subjectivity.Ranciére examines social dominance and its emancipation based on the differences in the perceptual acquisition and presentation abilities of different groups.This is actually an examination of whether people’s perception of being is manipulated or autonomous.In post-Marxism,emotional models are a common way of examining differences in subjectivity,and Ranciére’s "sensible distribution" explains the issue of emotional models from the perspective of experiences accumulation.The "sensible distribution" indirectly affects the accumulation process of emotional models in the experiential world by influencing the interventivity of time and space,and the distance between the social dominant emotional models used to identify existence and individual emotional models is the foothold for domination and emancipation.The first chapter of this paper mainly explores the inherent inequality factors in emotional activities,and how Ranciére’s "sensible distribution" theory is linked to emotional issues.There are many unequal factors inherent in human emotional activities,such as value intentionality,hints and contagion of power relationships,and differences in emotional priors.Political activities often use these factors to construct dominance,and the application of "sensible distribution" in political activities is related to these factors.The second chapter mainly discusses the emotional manipulation reflected in the sensible distribution of Police.Police expresses a logic of "canceling remainder".In the perceptual mechanism,Police transforms a sense of identity into a sense of existence,and through the techniques of representative poetics,sensible distribution is carried out in social scenes,causing people to value what they value or do not value,and then pay attention to what they do not pay attention to in perception.Police is precisely shaping a specific artistic work that combines value and perception.The purpose of manipulating people’s emotional experiences is to mask bugs in rational algorithms by cultivating people’s identification in the emotional field.The third chapter mainly discusses the emotional emancipation reflected in the sensible distribution of Politics.Politics expresses a logic of "adding remainder",which opposes the use of emotions to cover up bugs in value algorithms.On the contrary,the use achieves the disclosure of value bugs and the emergence of new subjectivity.From the perspective of egalitarianism,Ranciére’s so-called "emancipation" is actually an anti-discrimination attitude,that is,an attitude against value evaluation.However,due to the inherent inequality in emotional activities,Ranciére’s aesthetic emancipation can be understood as the anti-manipulation behavior of controlling the initiative of emotions,indirectly leading to the emergence of equality in the background of human nature. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Jacques Ranciére, emotion, value, egalitarianism, aesthetics, emancipation | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
