An Analysis Of Mongolian Sensory Words From The Perspective Of Cognitive Linguistics

This paper takes Mongolian sensory words as the research object.The sense is the bridge for human to know and perceive the world.No matter in the past or now,the feeling obtained through the sense always affects our emotions and all kinds of thought activities.It is the change of thought activity,also gradually changed the way of people’s cognition.Therefore,the study of sensory words is an important part of cognitive linguistics.In addition,there are not many achievements in the study of sensory words in Mongolian language.Through the study of sensory words,we can also explore the cognitive experience,cognitive rules and thinking characteristics of the Mongolian people through sensory.This paper analyzes 50 basic sensory words and their word families.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly explains the research object,research reasons and significance,research methods,research purposes,corpus sources and other contents.The first chapter mainly starts with the meaning of sensory words,analyzes sensory and feeling,the difference between sensory and perception,and the relationship between sensory,cognition and language,and determines the specific classification of sensory words.Then,it classifies Mongolian sensory words according to vision,touch,taste,hearing and smell,and arranges sensory words included in all kinds of sensory words to determine their scope.The second chapter mainly analyzes from the perspectives of derivation,synthesis and metaphor.It analyzes the roots and affixes of all kinds of sensory words through derivation,so as to recall their original meaning and development law.It analyzes the semantic generation and development process of Mongolian sensory words through synthesis,and analyzes the cognitive mode and cognitive motivation of Mongolian sensory words generation process through metaphor.We can know that the phonetic alternation method is the most primitive word formation method,while the synthesis method is relatively late.Metaphor is not only a method of word creation,but also a cognitive process.Therefore,through the study of this part,we can realize the semantic generation process of Mongolian sensory words and the cognitive features behind them.The third chapter explains from the influence of Mongolian food culture on taste words and the relationship between natural environment and warm sense words that the changes of Mongolian senses are not only affected by the climate at that time,but also by the influence of food culture,thus generating sensory words with national characteristics.On the basis of this,the author puts forward the transformation of image thinking and people-oriented thought in Mongolian sensory words.This is also the process of Mongolian cognitive law and way of thinking change.
