A Study On The Three Historical Materials Of Zheng He’s Voyages To The Western Seas

In the first half of the 15th century,Zhu Di,Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty,and Zhu Zhanji,Emperor Xuanzong of the Ming Dynasty,sent Zheng He,a eunuch,on seven large-scale voyages to the Western seas.Zheng He’s voyages were nearly 100 years earlier than the age of navigation in Europe,which left an important note in the history of communication between China and the West.Zheng He’s voyages to the Western Seas was an important practice of tribute trade in the Ming Dynasty.In this stage,political significance was emphasized rather than economic significance,which was reflected in the communication rules favoring others over others,which was also an important reason for Zheng He’s demise in the Western seas.The chroniclers of Zheng He’s voyages recorded the politics,economy,culture,and specialties of the countries along the way.There are three historical records that record these contents,one is Ma Huan’s “YingYaShengLan”,the other is Fei Xin’s“XingChaShengLan”,and the third is Gong Zhen’s Records of the “XiYangFanGuoZhi”.The purpose of this paper is to use the method of literature analysis“YingYaShengLan”,“XingChaShengLan”,“XiYangFanGuoZhi” the background of the book,version spread and other contents,on this basis through the method of comparative exploration of the three historical books for research,in this process to seek differences and common,the difference of the three historical books dialectical and sorting.This paper focuses on the comparative study between“YingYaShengLan”and“XiYangFanGuoZhi”,and between “XiYangFanGuoZhi”and “XingChaShengLan”,and makes a comprehensive analysis around the problem of differences in records.The first part of this article mainly writes “YingYaShengLan”,“XingChaShengLan”,“XiYangFanGuoZhi” the author and version of the spread of the problem,the second part of this article is mainly carried out “YingYaShengLan”and “XiYangFanGuoZhi”,“XiYangFanGuoZhi” and “XingChaShengLan”comparative survey work,this part is the key content of this article,The third part mainly studies the compilation characteristics and historical value of “YingYaShengLan”,“XingChaShengLan”and“XiYangFanGuoZhi”.
