Analysis On The Characteristics Of The Creation And Development Of Competitive Dragon Dance Routines

Dragon dance sport is an outstanding representative of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,which contains a high value of cultural education and practical education.As the most popular,competitive and ornamental item in the competitive dragon dance competition,the development of dragon dance is becoming more and more rapid and the economic level is getting higher and higher,but at the same time there are also problems that affect its development to a higher level such as unclear theme of the routine,unremarkable style,unreasonable choreography and inappropriate music coordination.This paper takes 31 teams participating in the 10 th,11th,12 th and 13 th National Dragon and Lion Dance Championships as the object of study.Using literature method,video observation method,expert interview method,mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method,the competition performance,movement specifications,artistic performance and difficult movements of the participating teams are studied,and the performance of the creation of the competition routines of the participating teams,the characteristics of the creation of routines of the high-level teams and the relationship between the creation of routines and the competition performance are studied and analysed,and the conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The level of competition of each team in the optional item of competitive dragon dance has been improved year by year,but the revision and updating of the competition rules of the optional item of competitive dragon dance is stagnant,and the rules of the competition are not refined enough for the judging rules of the artistic realization part of the optional item of dragon dance.(2)At this stage,the focus of the creation of the optional routines of competitive dragon dance sports has shifted from the creation of difficult actions to the creation and rehearsal of the theme plot,action forms,costumes and instruments,and music options.(3)The development characteristics of the creation of the routines mainly show that the creation of the theme plot is combined with the regional characteristics and the characteristics of the times,the diversification of the action form,the combination of modern and traditional costumes and instruments and music selection,the decrease of the attention to the creation of difficult actions and the increase of the attention to the basic technical actions of dragon dance.(4)The creation of the routine should focus on the elements of human posture,dragon body form,thematic plot,costumes and instruments,and music selection.The elements are coordinated and complement each other in order to create a more perfect competition routine and thus achieve excellent competition results.(5)The development of the optional routines of competitive dragon dance sports should be carried out from four aspects: rationalization of the basis of creation,systematization of the principles of creation,diversification of the content of creation and refinement of the process and steps of creation of routines,excavation of materials from traditional Chinese culture,extraction of essence from foreign culture and localization,stimulation of innovative thinking from the dynamics of the times,more reading,more thinking,more doing,and creation of new works in line with the development of the optional competitive dragon dance We will create new works in line with the development of the project.
