This article starts with the study of the connection between flatness in painting and things,explains how flatness occurs in painting through the study of ancient art and related works,and summarizes the characteristics played in art history.Then contact the times and techniques to describe the new appearance of planarity in painting.The first chapter mainly discusses the background of the current era,visual culture,and the way of painting.On the other hand,the issue of re-creation using images as materials serves as a breakthrough,paving the way for the transformation of formal language.The second chapter is divided into three parts,the first is how the flatness is formed in the painting;through the painting of ancient art to discuss the meaning of the flatness.Among them,the characteristics of Egyptian art are more representative,and the original meaning of planarity is summarized in it,and how planarity in painting is related to psychology and perception as the original appearance.Corresponding to this question,three keywords are summarized here: association,touch and vision.The second is to summarize the meaning of flatness in art history and its characteristics in painting language,and illustrate it with examples of modernist painting styles.It mainly revolves around style,color,composition and texture.Corresponding to them are the impact of the outline filling style on expression,the flat application of color and the effect of de-representation,the tiling of composition and the elimination of perspective.Third,combined with the transformation of formal language,try to discuss the change and transformation of planarity from the perspective of art history.Finally,in the third chapter,the context is used to explain the inheritance and extension of planarity in contemporary paintings.First,compare the paintings of Matisse and Katz to explain the "rumination" in formal language.Taking the paintings of Tuymans,David Sally,and Einhoff as examples,discuss the organic combination of materials,motifs and paintings,as well as new ideas in artistic creation.
