The Design And Research Of Props To Guide The Transformation Of Situation In Participatory Art

The form of art practice changes with the social context and the times,from the careful record of the world to the Declaration and cry of shaping the future possibilities,open attitude to invite the audience to participate in the process of artistic practice to explore and experience.Based on the formation and social background of participatory art in the 1990 s in the west,and combined with the practical cases of participatory art in cooperation with different communities in the Chinese context,how to stimulate the creativity and thinking of the audience in the form of cooperation with the audience in the practice of participatory art.This article mainly focuses on the transformation of audience and creator’s identity and the ways of participation in the participatory art practice,and how to change the audience’s perspective of observing daily life and looking at problems by means of the props in the context of the works.The Creator is no longer the producer of things,but the architect of situations,and the construction of situations often comes from the mapping of real social scenes,through the reconstruction of daily life scenes,events and collective activities,from the angle of art,we can respond to the questions,process and reproduce the phenomena of life and society so that the art practice can give voice to them,and take the leading props as the turning point of the transformation of the work’s situation,so as to complete the transformation of the public’s cognition.In the course of practice,the audience is formally invited to participate and discuss,and through the use of props to activate the imagination of thinking and possibility,to connect and establish a deeper relationship between the creator,the audience,the works and the societ,thus explore the possibility based on local memory,daily scenes and folk creation.
