Research And Creation Of Oil Painting On Gulangyu Landscape Subjects

Gulangyu’s historical roots and natural beauty make it an excellent place to inspire artistic creation.The island is rich in both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.Western aesthetic concepts have found a home on Gulangyu,and a large number of artists have pioneered the creation of art on Gulangyu,providing a source of creativity for art and promoting the development of Gulangyu culture.When I visited Gulangyu during my studies,I was impressed by the vast sea and the blue sky.In front of the beautiful scenery,the author became more interested in the art of oil painting.For art creation,the most important point is to use one’s most sincere and expressive emotions to express what is in one’s mind and one’s love for a better life.Therefore,the author has combed through over a hundred years of theoretical books on the creation of oil paintings of Gulangyu Island and information on the appreciation of outstanding works,wanting to systematically describe the beautiful scenery of Gulangyu Island,so that the beauty of Gulangyu Island can be passed on in the form of art,and at the same time inspiring the author’s desire to create a comprehensive study of Gulangyu Island in the form of oil paintings,and also to protect and pass on the human nature of Gulangyu Island.This essay examines the painting techniques and ideas used by the artists in the creation of the Gulangyu landscape as an example,so that more people can learn about the place and recognise the humanistic spirit contained in these oil paintings.
