The Practical Study Of "Taste And Appreciation" In Public Art Elective Courses In Colleges And Universities

The elective course in public art at universities,which is designed to cultivate high-quality talents needed for socialist modernization,is a limited elective course.It is a major way to implement aesthetic education and plays an irreplaceable role in improving aesthetic literacy,cultivating innovative spirit,and practical abilities.In order to deepen the reform of aesthetic education and teaching in universities,Quanzhou Normal University has offered a public art elective course on "Chinese Art Songs: Appreciation and Evaluation".From the perspective of music core literacy,Chinese art songs,which integrate excellent Chinese culture,are selected as the medium.Teaching focuses on "appreciation and evaluation",and historical context is used as a connection to combine the excellence and artistry of China’s excellent music culture with contemporary music culture.Through the bidirectional "teaching and learning" between teachers and students,the music aesthetic ability of the students taking the course is improved,and a high-quality aesthetic education course for university public art elective courses is constructed.This explores a new path for the reform of university public art elective courses in the new era.
