Abstract/Summary:
Aesthetic quality refers to feeling,appreciating and creating beauty.It has the basic aesthetic interest and ability to express the understanding and feeling of beauty in its own unique way and show the image of beauty.As a part of art education,dance education follows the principle of aesthetic education in the process of education,so that students can be improved in physical and mental,emotional and other aspects.Public dance elective course is one of the forms of dance education and an important way to practice aesthetic education.With the help of the aesthetic education function of dance education,offering public dance elective courses in Colleges and universities can enrich campus life,improve students’ aesthetic pursuit,and promote students’ physical and mental health.With the advancement of quality education in the new era,the high demand of society for talents and the growing demand of students,higher standards and requirements are put forward for the development of public dance elective courses.Based on general education,multiple intelligences and other related theories,this paper investigates the teaching managers,teachers and students of public dance elective courses in four colleges and universities in Gansu Province from the four aspects of curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation The reasons are summarized as follows: first,the course content can not meet the needs of students,lack of indirect experience teaching,lack of systematic class arrangement;second,there is no specific teaching materials,teaching content specialization,ignoring students’ mental health education,classroom discipline is relatively loose;third,the structure of Teachers is not perfect,lack of complete knowledge structure;fourth,the foundation of students is weak Cognitive level needs to be improved,lack of autonomous learning;fifthly,lack of process evaluation.In view of the above problems,combined with the social development in the new era and the concept of running colleges and universities in Gansu Province,the following suggestions are put forward: first,deepen the popularization of dance aesthetic education concept,combined with the actual situation of ordinary college students,establish the concept of taking aesthetics as the core and interests as the driving force;second,adhere to the unity of theoretical knowledge,classroom practice and stage performance,and choose appropriate teaching materials and teaching design Third,to promote teaching and learning,to establish the role of teachers as role models and to mobilize teachers’ enthusiasm;fourth,to establish a scientific assessment and evaluation system,to adhere to the combination of process evaluation and summary evaluation,and the unity of quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation.
