Nanyin, also named "Xianguan",different preomulgate places have also named as Nanqu,Nanyue,Nanguan, and Langjunyue.Inheritors of Nanyin play a connecting role in the process of their inheritance and dissemination. This article takes Ji Anxin,a provincial inheritor in Fujian Province,as the research object, and studies Ji Anxin’s Xianguan inheritance from the perspective of "root" and "soul".Through two promotion activities,Ji Anxin’s Xianguan learning from childhood to the present is fully demonstrated, which reflects that Ji Anxin internalizes and externalizes the spirit of Xianguan in her heart and actions, and continuously improves it,forming a unique personal identity of Ji Anxin’s Xianguan spirit-"adhesive".On the one hand, the "adhesive" role it plays that has affected Xianyou’s recognition of Nanyin culture in a certain extent, and even activated the appeal of Xianguan spirit, the ecological survival of Nanyin culture. On the other hand,as the intangible cultural heritage, the living inheritance of Nanyin is not only manifested in the transmission of the inheritor’s own skills, but also reflected in the infiltration of Nanyin culture into the spirit and behavior of Xianyou, and internalizing the vitality of the inheritance and development of Nanyin and Nanyin culture. This shows that in the context of protecting and inheriting intangible cultural heritage, while paying attention to the inheritor’s Xianguan skills,it is important not to ignore the study of their Xianguan spirit and deepen the practical significance of the living inheritance. This article attempts to draw attention from Xianyou, researchers, and relevant workers to the Xianguan spirit of the inheritors of Nanyin through case studies, and enrich the research perspective of Nanyin and its cultural heritage.
