In recent years,as the number of college students in China increases year by year,the employment problem also increases.Before graduation,college students are facing the problem of career development transition from students to workers.In the meanwhile,college students are in a critical period of career development,facing the problems of current employment and future career development planning.How to effectively alleviate these problems has become very important.Career adaptability is considered to be able to effectively help individuals overcome the difficulties in the process of career development and better achieve the ideal career development.Consequently,it has certain theoretical and practical significance to study college students’ career adaptability and explore how to improve college students’ career adaptability.Based on the career construction theory,the previous research on College Students’ career adaptability only considered the impact of individual or environmental unilateral factors(such as proactive personality or perceived social support)on career adaptability,and paid less attention to how the career preparation of individual and environment combined to affect career adaptability.In addition,the mechanism of intentional self-regulation needs to be further explored.Through a questionnaire survey of 608 college students,this study explored the relationship between college students’ career adaptability and their proactive personality,perceived social support and intentional self-regulation,and obtained the following results:(1)There are significant differences in college students’ career adaptability at the school level,the number of children,and the annual family income.(2)The proactive personality of college students has a direct positive predictive effect on career adaptability.(3)The perceived social support of college students has a direct positive predictive effect on career adaptability.(4)College students’ intentional self-regulation plays a complete mediating role in the influence of proactive personality and perceived social support on career adaptability.
