The Exploration Of Narrative Space In Documentary Creation

Space is an important part of film and television art.The construction and arrangement of different types of space play a pivotal role in the construction of the environment,the shaping of characters,and the expression of the theme.This article will take my graduation work "Parallel Life in the Script" as an example,and explore the role of space in the narrative of documentaries from three parts.The first part analyzes the role of different spaces in the narrative sense;the second part discusses how documentaries construct narrative space through artistic means represented by audio-visual language;the third part analyzes the influence of spatial organization on characterization.
