Since the birth of the documentary,the discussion of "documentary" and "intervention" in its creation methods has never stopped.The former emphasizes the core attributes of the documentary’s existence,pursues the objective reality of the film,and is represented by the direct film of observational records;the latter The other is a real film that emphasizes the presence of the camera,and highlights the creator’s subjective aesthetic style.In 2019,Chinese documentaries entered the era of "net students".Based on the audience’s habits on the Internet,although documentaries are a real art form at the core,they still need to explore a larger space for expression.On the premise of not breaking the documentary record,the intervention of the creator’s consciousness has gradually become the mainstream of documentary creation.As a result,the creative methods of "documentary" and "intervention" complement each other,and jointly provide development space for the creation of documentaries.This article takes the graduation work "Happy Planet" as an example,combined with related documentaries,from the creative perspective of long-shot,simultaneous sound,and head-up perspective,the objective documentary method,the shooting intervention,narrative editing,and emotional voice-based artistic intervention methods are two.From this perspective,we will discuss the performance of "documentary" and "intervention" in the creation of character documentaries.
