As a combination of various kinds of art and culture,Chinese opera embraces traditional dance art.Finding Chinese dance elements from opera is what dancers have been doing.In the early 20 th century,books related to "Chinese opera movements" came out gradually.Theses books are the discussion of opera actions,and manifest the opera movements and gestures that can only be learned by the master "by words and deeds" in words,so that they can be spread in the original content and accurate language,which is convenient for all kinds of opera practitioners and lovers to study.This paper takes opera techniques as the research object and various opera movements books as the research scope,and arranges,compares and analyzes the contents of hand movements in various works by using the methods of literature research,comparative research and statistical analysis.The first part is an overview of the works of Chinese opera movements and gestures.It arranges and analyzes 21 opera movements books collected,and finds that compared with other body parts,the hand and finger movements are rich in content,beautiful in shape and strong in expressiveness,which plays a leading role in movements of Chinese opera.It also arranges the contents of hand and finger movements in various works,the scope of hand and finger movements in this paper,and the summary of hand shape,hand position,arm movements and ideographic writing.The second part is the comparison of hand shape,finger,palm and fist.Hand shape is the basis of all movements and gestures.Combined with the contents of various works,this chapter compares and analyzes the finger,palm and fist shape,and clarifies the differences in hand shape,classification,name,illustration and meaning.The third part is the comparison of works on hand position and arm action.On the basis of hand shape,hand movements are consists of hand position and arm action by linking the wrist,arm and shoulder.Combined with the contents of the works,this part selects more representative hand positions and arm actions for comparative analysis.It is found that although there are many differences in the contents of various works,the bending and circling become the commonness of the works of hand positions and arm actions.The fourth chapter is the analysis of ideographic writing.Hand shape,hand position and arm action constitute the form of hand movements,which provides the carrier for expression.Combined with the ideographic content of the first two parts,this chapter summarizes and analyzes the four techniques of reality,virtuality,abstraction and lyricism.
