| In previous studies, landscape imagery is often the focus of attention, but there are not many studies that abstract mountain imagery alone, and the same is true for the study of mountain imagery in Huang Tingjian’s poetry. He has a strong concept of worshipping mountains, and mountain images not only appear frequently in his poems, but also have rich expressions and literary connotations. In writing,Huang Tingjian projected his true state of mind into the image of the mountain, making the mountain no longer a mere sight, but a symbol of its individuation and personification. Therefore, the mountains in his works not only have the natural beauty of the objective scenery, but also are full of poetic and picturesque.Starting from Huang Tingjian’s mountain imagery, this paper attempts to analyze the writing reasons, diachronicity and synchronicity of the Zhongshan imagery in his poetry creation,in order to have a deeper understanding of Huang Tingjian’s concept of worshipping mountains. This paper includes three parts: introduction, body and conclusion. In the introduction part, this paper first defines the concept and staging of Zhongshan imagery in Huang Tingjian’s poems to lay a solid foundation for subsequent analysis and research. At the same time, the current status and feasibility of this research direction are summarized. The body part can be subdivided into three parts. The first part is the content of the first chapter, which mainly explores the reasons why there are a large number of mountain images in various forms in Huang Tingjian’s poems. The author analyzes it from three perspectives: the concept of worshipping mountains, life experience and artistic accomplishment in traditional culture, which together contributed to the uniqueness of Huang Tingjian’s image writing. The second part is the second, third and fourth chapters, exploring the stages of Huang Tingjian’s image writing.Through analysis,it is found that Huang Tingjian’s cognition of mountain imagery is affected by his situation and state of mind, and presents different characteristics in different periods. Therefore, the second chapter analyzes the characteristics of Huang Tingjian’s mountain forest experience and mountain imagery before entering Beijing. At this time,he mainly worked in the local area. The experience of changing positions and field visits enriched his experience in the mountains and forests. The writing of mountain images reflects his concern for reality, which the author summarizes as "Mountain Romance";The feeling of mountain forest and the characteristics of mountain imagery in Beijing period.During this period, the poet gained the mountain feeling from art instead of the real mountain forest experience. In the exchange of poetry, painting and calligraphy with friends,he integrated poetry, calligraphy and painting to write mountain imagery. The "reverse stroke" method in the book,as well as the "smart and clumsy" theory of the fusion of poetry, calligraphy and painting, are integrated into the mountain aesthetics, and the mountain imagery also presents the characteristics of "far","reverse",plain and distant;chapter four analyzes Huang Tingjian’s departure from The experience of mountains and forests in the post-Beijing era and "understanding the truth from the mountains".The ups and downs after leaving Beijing were the most devastated period in the poet’s life, and the experience of exile and relocation enriched Huang Tingjian’s experience in the mountains and forests.Facing the difficult life situation, the poet survived the predicament by relying on the mountain to understand the rationale. In the comfort of the mountains,he gradually changed from the depression and despair of relegation to the uncompromising. These three chapters analyze the differences in Huang Tingjian’s writing of images of the mountains in different life stages. This shows that Huang Tingjian appreciates the mountains with a strong subjective will,so in different situations and moods, the image of mountains shows the function of expressing emotions and sustenance of elegance. The fifth chapter discusses the synchronicity of Huang Tingjian’s poems with mountain imagery from the perspectives of expression and connotation,so as to connect the mountain imagery in Huang Tingjian’s entire creative process.Huang Tingjian condenses his thoughts on art and reality in the image of mountains. The mountains also reflect the poet’s spiritual world and cultural world, and thus become a symbol of the poet’s arrogant and refined cultural spirit. The conclusion part summarizes the main content and research significance of the full text. The stage and universality of Huang Tingjian’s imagery writing constitutes his unique understanding of mountain imagery, ranging from "love from mountains","arts from mountains" to "reasons from mountains",from rich expressive functions to profound cultural connotations,Huang Tingjian wrote the deep emotion for the old mountain, the old people and the spiritual hometown with simple and unpretentious brushwork. This is not only a reflection of the poet’s real emotional state at that time, but also the uniqueness of Huang Tingjian’s image writing. |
