The traditional "Mogu method" is between fine brushwork and freehand brushwork,emphasizing weakening lines and directly painting with color,to highlight the charm of pen and ink.Compared with flowers,birds in the same period,the traditional "Mogu" figure painting developed slowly.Liang Kai’s pioneering and innovative work and Ren Bonian’s in-depth practice brought a brand-new look to the "Mogu" figure painting and accelerated the development of the traditional "Mogu" formal language.With the exchange and collision of Chinese and western artistic ideas,the contemporary "Mogu method" has widely absorbed the essence of various artistic ideas.the forms of expression become rich and diverse.Tian Liming,Zhou Jingxin,Liu Qinghe and other well-known painters used the "Mogu method" to practice and innovate in contemporary ink figure painting,and respectively formed "Mogu" figure paintings with unique styles such as light and shadow,sculpture and freehand brushwork.The pictures are rich in content and full of emotions,have the aesthetic feeling of the times that cannot be copied.Firstly,this paper takes the concept of "boneless" as the starting point to summarize and integrate the origin and development of traditional "Mogu method";Then,starting with the special category of "Mogu" figure paintings,this paper compares and analyzes the differences between the expressions of the "Mogu" figure painting in ancient and modern times,and concludes that the contemporary "Mogu" formal language in freehand figure painting has the characteristics,such as diversification of picture composition,rich in pen and ink skills,and beautiful blending of color and ink.By analyzing representative "Mogu" figure painting of three famous painters,Tian Liming,Zhou Jingxin and Liu Qinghe,exploring the trend and aesthetic direction of the current development of "Mogu method",which has certain guiding significance for promoting the diversified development of contemporary ink and wash language. |
