On The Phenomenon Of New Ink Painting In Nanjing

Since the 1980s,the concept of ink painting has become increasingly diversified,which has promoted the adjustment and contemporary transformation of new ink painting forms,while highlighting the artist’s personality appeal and exploring the visual language of pen and ink.This article will discuss the phenomenon of new ink painting in Nanjing,and analyze the changes and characteristics of Nanjing’s ink language and art form in contemporary times.The article is divided into three parts.The first chapter traces the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Nanjing area,jinling city’s long history of calligraphy and painting is a solid foundation for the development of new ink painting,followed by the ’85 art movement in the 1980 s and the "Jiangsu Pictorial" on the dissemination of new ideas in the development of new ink painting in Nanjing.The second chapter,as the focus of this article,through the ink works of several painters as an example,discusses that since entering the 21 st century,a series of bold and novel ink ideas containing contemporary characteristics have emerged and been put into practice;secondly,painters have begun to re-examine contemporary ink painting,looking for ink elements that can be inherited from the classics,and returning to the traditional re-creation mode from the present;and then briefly describing the pluralistic opening of new ink painting has led to the increasing enrichment of relevant theories in the academic community and gradually formed a complete theoretical system,which has attracted widespread attention in the world.The third chapter is the closing part,mainly about the impact of new ink on my creative practice.In contemporary creative practice,ink painting is not limited by material substances,has a broader ability to dominate and selectivity,presents more possibilities for ink innovation,through the understanding and learning of these ink works,the author will harvest the new ink concept and ink language into his own ink practice creation,in practice,the reference of materials,ink blending methods,picture atmosphere shaping and other aspects of the use,from which to draw personal ideas and understanding of new ink.
