This paper takes the plural character of print as the research object, pays attention to its artistic expression in the context of contemporary art,and its new extension means such as new ideas, new languages, new forms and so on,which are reconstructed in the artistic creation of print as the beginning of the argument. This paper attempts to explore the various changes and deep responses brought by the reconstruction and extension of the plural nature of prints in the context of contemporary art.The full text takes part of Deleuze’s philosophical views in "Difference and Repetition" as the theoretical starting point of the paper, explains the reconstruction and extension of the print plural in the context of contemporary art,and analyzes the new concept of the print plural in two dimensions: "true repetition is difference" and "hidden repetition",and uses new concepts and new forms The new media and the new method summarize the comprehensive art language presented in the contemporary art context. In terms of the specific phenomena and forms involved in the reconstruction and extension of the plural nature of prints, this paper attempts to use plural thinking as the logical starting point of the reconstruction of the plural nature of prints, use "hidden plural" as a conceptual method of reconstructing the plural nature of prints, and use "re-media" as a means of extending the plural nature of prints. Finally, the conclusion of the stage study is that the print plural is endowed with a new concept and cognition in the context of contemporary art,and is presented with a new change and extension. This has brought a new look to the artistic creation of printmaking, and also triggered a new approach to the creation of printmaking, which has enriched the pattern of printmaking creation.
