Fusion And Transcendence - A Study Of Wang Weixin's Watercolor Painting Styl

This paper is divided into five parts,the first part first analyzes the social,cultural and artistic environment in which Wang Weixin lived and his early artistic experience,and feels Wang Weixin’s full and condensed emotions and rich and profound life experience from the aesthetic edification and the formation of sketch watercolor expression style.The second part specifically interprets Wang Weixin’s watercolor painting creation methods,from his reference to traditional Chinese painting with line shape,color and ink blending and chapter method creation,to an open and inclusive attitude that combines the rationality of Western copperplate printing with the academic modeling and perspective methods,forming his unique watercolor art outlook,providing new enlightenment for the development of contemporary Chinese watercolor painting.The third part analyzes Wang Weixin’s interpretation of the unique properties of water-based materials as a medium,combined with the proposition of imagery and artistic conception in the oriental traditional aesthetic concept,and analyzes the contemporaneity of Wang Weixin’s watercolor painting art based on the oriental tradition.The fourth part further explores the profound influence of his watercolor art on the contemporary watercolor painting industry through Wang Weixin’s definition of the concept of watercolor painting and its aesthetic concept of the interrelationship between art,culture,spirituality,life and other factors.The last part summarizes the enlightenment and significance of Wang Weixin’s sketch expression style of watercolor painting,and at the same time reflects on the problems of excessive reliance on images and loss of speech in contemporary art faced by the Chinese watercolor painting industry through Wang Weixin’s personal artistic experience,and hopes to provide some meaningful references for the future development of watercolor art and get some enlightenment from it.
