Research On Li Deyu's Pros

Li Deyu,as an influential politician and writer in the late Tang Dynasty,has great research value in his prose.On the basis of sorting out the origin of Li Deyu’s prose compilations and editions,subject matter and art stages,this paper further points out that Li Deyu’s prose,in theory,advocates classic works,often reveals the Confucian tradition and the thought of using literature to stabilize the country.He clearly put forward the theory of "Qi Guan" and guided the literary practice.He abandoned the rhetoric and formal writing skills,requiring simple words,profound meaning of the article,emphasizing the article writing aura,often write often new,with distinct personal characteristics.In terms of literary style,Li Deyu concentrated the unified idea of "respecting the king and suppressing the nations" in the Spring and Autumn Annals into the writing of letters,and paid attention to the authority of the imperial court,trying to achieve a revival.He fully carried out gorgeous and simple creation propositions,spoke for the emperor in simple and solemn words,and was able to forge his own views into the articles,achieving the unity of objectivity and subjectivity.His military briefs were often able to use different words according to different objects,and choose appropriate strategies to prepare for war according to different strategic opportunities.He would also quote quotations from the scriptures in a tortuous manner,speak frankly or humbly,in accordance with the situation,so as to strike the enemy’s weakness accurately when he asked for troops.In ode,Li Deyu quite has the consciousness of preserving history.He uses plain and simple prose ode order to explain the writing reasons,and in the ode more than self notes,the ode is not limited to parallel style sentence patterns,but loose sentences and lament sentences and out,reflecting the subjective desire for stylistic innovation.Among his miscellaneous essays,he liked to rewrite historical events and express his opinions in a novel way.His opinions were profound,his words were precipitous and clean.In the art,he is good at both parallelism and loose sentences,narrative and discussion are both present in his writings,He is good at using Han allusions and citing "story".The above characteristics are integrated into various genres of Li Deyu’s prose.Li Deyu’s prose achieves a delicate balance between two distinct styles: solemn and vigorous and popular.In terms of influence and acceptance,as Li Deyu’s literary fame gradually fades out of people’s attention,Li Deyu becomes a corner of modern literary history narration.Through literary anthologies "Quintessence of Tang Dynasty","Prose Review of Tang Dynasty" and "Parallel Style Prose of Tang Dynasty",this paper views Li Deyu’s prominent position in the "grand style" writers of Tang Dynasty,and tries to understand the value of Li Deyu’s prose through the gap of history.
