At the intermediate stage of learning Chinese,learners’ oral expression ability is required to be improved,and the exercises provided by textbooks cannot meet students’ demand for expression.Appropriate supplementary videos can stimulate students’ interest and desire for expression.Based on the two textbooks Developing Chinese: Intermediate Speaking Language,the text topics are divided into four categories: life,work and business,learning and education,culture.Then,guided by the categories,animation videos suitable for assisting intermediate oral Chinese teaching are retrieved and selected on the video platform.After combining the animation video’s advantages and characteristics,which is to complement oral training materials,oral topic communicative training and scenes,teaching activities suitable for sentence training,paragraph expression training and conversation training are conceived and designed.Then Man’s Diary,Giant Baby and other animation video are choosed for intermediate oral teaching design.Based on Man Diary desgin teaching practise and the investigation and analysis on students after lesson,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the animation video assisted oral Chinese teaching.This paper hopes to explore the scope of auxiliary materials for International Chinese Language Education.The advantages of the application of animation video not only provide teaching resources for offline teaching,but fot online teaching.
