The In domitable Spirits of zhe Snow Mountain is a red-themed erhu concerto composed by Mr.Liu Wenjin.It tells the story of the Red Army soldiers who crossed the snowy mountains and grasslands for 25,000 miles,and finally reached the triumphant rendezvous in Shaanxi Province.In this work,the composer depicts both the environment,the storyline and the inner activities of the characters.The composition technique is based on Western compositional techniques and the rich folk music of China.The melody makes full use of local musical materials to reflect its red spiritual connotation.The author,through his own playing and learning experience,transposes this red classic into a shang piece and discusses it as a selected topic.In this paper,I try to express the musical mood and spiritual connotation of "Snow Mountain Soul" through the performance characteristics of the shang,in comparison with the skills and characteristics of the erhu.In this paper,we will explore the transplantation,performance,and spiritual connotation of the shang piece "Snow Mountain Soul Shaping" from three aspects: the unique musical vocabulary of the transplanted shang piece "Snow Mountain Soul Shaping" and its red spiritual connotation,performance techniques,and practical significance. |
