The bamboo flute solo work "Night Song of the Western Regions" was originally created by the author in 2021.This work depicts and displays the cultural customs of the Uyghur people in Xinjiang,the images of galloping horses,and the homesickness of border guards.The work is divided into four parts,including an introduction,a presentation,a central section,and a reproduction section.It fully displays the characteristics of the high pitched,transparent,and dexterous timbre of bamboo flute,vividly depicting the customs of the Western Regions..In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the article is divided into two chapters.The first chapter mainly combs the Xinjiang Uygur music style and the creative characteristics of the works,and refines and discusses the musical images expressed in each part;In the second chapter,the author combines his own performance practice and learning experience to propose his views on the performance techniques and music processing of "Night Song of the Western Regions".
