| As the main force and vanguard of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the cultivation of moral character and personality of young people is not only an inevitable requirement of ideological and political work in universities,but also a key link in helping individuals grow and succeed.Currently,the state and society have high expectations for young people to become "new era individuals".In terms of moral qualities,"new era individuals" should possess good moral emotions,correct moral judgments,conscious moral practices,and lofty moral sentiments.In the new era,the overall moral character of young university students is healthy and positive,and they have a kind moral cognition,strong patriotism,and truly put moral behavior into practice.However,in the environment of rapid economic development and various ideological clashes in society,negative thoughts such as consumerism,hedonism,"Buddhist style" attitudes,and "lying flat" thinking have gradually emerged among young university students,which is not conducive to the long-term development of the country and the healthy stability of society.From the perspective of young university students as individuals,these negative thoughts and labels point to the same problem,that is,how to improve their subjective moral character to resist the influence of negative thoughts and ensure that they effectively meet the requirements of "new era individuals".The contradiction between the development expectations of young university students and the development status requires the exploration of effective educational models to improve their moral level.Exploring the moral subjectivity thought of the Yangming School has a positive enlightening significance for the creative transformation and innovative development of outstanding traditional culture and solving the confusion of current university students in the moral field.This article interprets the subjectivity thought contained in the Yangming School,analyzes the intrinsic relationship between this thought and the cultivation of the subjective moral character of university students in terms of goals,content,and methods.Therefore,the moral content of Yangming School’s subjectivity thought,such as "cultivating oneself to promote morality,setting goals when studying,practicing diligently,and understanding the oneness of all things," is creatively transformed into modernity.Four paths to optimize the subjective moral character of university students are proposed,namely to inspire the good qualities of the subject,construct a practical education mechanism,firmly establish lofty ideals and beliefs,and exert the function of cultural infiltration. |
