This paper takes Tang Yifen’s "Qin Yin Yuan ci Collection" as the research object, through the investigation of the ci writer’s life and friendship, grasps the subject matter, content and artistic features of his ci collection, and discusses the phenomenon of the blending of ci style,in order to have a clear and accurate understanding of Tang Yifen’s position in the history of Qing ci.The paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter focuses on the investigation of Tang Yifen’s life and friends. This chapter is based on Tang Yifen’s Poems of Seventy sensibility and Tang Zhenzhong Chronicle, etc.,and combs Tang Yifen’s life information and social experience. His life is divided into three stages, namely,Min Yong in childhood, difficult to be rewarded in middle age,and retired to Jinling in his later years. Then, the author examines the friendship between Tang and Zhao Huaiyu,Liu Siyi,Peng Zhaosun,Zhou Ji,Sun Linzhi,Zhang Yaosun and others. It is worth noting that Tang Yifen,as the initiator of Jiangdong ci Society, participated in the editing and evaluation of Jiangdong ci Society, which promoted the development of Jiangdong ci Society. The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the theme and content of Qin Yin Yuan ci Collection.Although his ci set has only four volumes,it is rich in content, which can be divided into four aspects: lingering and affectionate boudoir ci,fresh and elegant hidden ci,poignant and mournful travel ci,and poignant painting ci.The third chapter discusses the phenomenon of blending of Chinese style in Qin Yin Yuan ci Collection, which is mainly carried out from two aspects: "poem as ci" and "qu as ci" : "Poetry as ci" is manifested in Tang Yifen’s preaching and history in ci,while "qu as ci" is shown in two aspects: the popular and natural style of ci and the structure of joint chapter. The fourth chapter focuses on the artistic features of Qin Yin Yuan ci Collection.Tang Yifen’s ci style is pluralistic, which has not only the empty and cold side formed by the influence of the West Zhejiang ci School, but also the deep and mournful side influenced by the Changzhou ci School,as well as the bold and melancholy ci style independent of the two schools. This shows that Tang Yifen not only accepted the style of ci at that time, but also broke through and surpassed it,which promoted the pluralistic development of ci in the Qing Dynasty. In addition, his ci draws lessons from painting techniques and skillfully integrates the skills of painting into ci works, forming the characteristics of "painting in ci",especially for reference to painting outline, color, layout and so on,which enhances the expressive force of ci.
