Word collocation knowledge is the core of second language vocabulary knowledge system,and verb-object collocation is an important part of lexical depth knowledge,which is the focus and difficulty of second language acquisition.On the basis of previous studies,this paper preliminarily establishes an index system that affects the acquisition difficulty of Chinese verb-object collocation,namely,frequency index,semantic index,pragmatic index and bias index.At the same time,based on the quantitative method of collocation acquisition for a single index in existing studies,the difficulty coefficient of verb-object collocation acquisition is theoretically hypothesized,and the difficulty level table of verb-object collocation acquisition for26 A-class verbs is formed: Draw,ask,help,increase,learn,get,improve,practice,use,participate,see,visit,change,find,listen,move,change,find,play,shoot,open,put,hair,do.At the same time,combined with the actual test results of second language learners,this paper comprehensively and systematically examines the indicators that affect the acquisition difficulty of Chinese verb-object collocation.It is found that frequency(frequency of co-occurrence of collocation words),number of sense items,number of synonym families,semantic selection restriction,semantic transparency,stylistic tendency and semantic rhyming tendency are important indicators to predict the acquisition difficulty of Chinese verb-object collocation.Among them,frequency(co-occurrence frequency of collocation words),number of meanings,semantic selection restriction and semantic transparency play a key role,while register restriction and other factors jointly restrict the acquisition of verb-object collocation in Chinese.Through the analysis of regression equation and various tests,the evaluation equation of the acquisition difficulty of Chinese verb-object collocation is finally established: Y=1.834-0.007X1+ 0.057X2-0.058X4+0.209X5,this equation can effectively predict the acquisition difficulty of any verb-object collocation,and provide certain reference for Chinese teachers to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching.
