In today’s era,the emergence of a large number of new technologies provides infinite possibilities for the innovation of interactive art.Examples include motion tracking technology,gesture recognition,inertial navigation,and attitude sensors.Based on the application of the attitude sensor,the author has carried out the creative practice of two works,"Body Sound" and "Snake and Crane".The intention is to explore a form of artistic expression that combines interactive electronic music and dance.This form is called interactive dance music.The hope is to enable dancers to directly influence the musical process in a controlled way.This paper first discusses the definition and feasibility of interactive dance music,and briefly outlines the design of an interactive system based on gesture sensors.On this basis,taking the creative practice as an example,it makes a detailed analysis and induction of the creative process of interactive dance music and the artistic expression of interactive design,showing the exploratory nature of the cross-field of interactive dance music.This article aims to provide a reference for cross-border and interdisciplinary creators,researchers and art practitioners in the field of interactive art.Make modest contributions to the development of interactive music.
