The Creation And Technical Description Of The Work "Yan And Tan - For Guzheng And Real-time Interactive Electronic Music"

In this paper,I mainly make a creation explanation and technical description for my own interactive electronic music composition Wild Goose and Deep Pool – Created for Guzheng and Live Interactive Electronic Music.Through the creative practice,the paper is aimed at exploring the variation of artistic expression for Guzheng under the new science and technology environment and creative platform,including the changes of tone,performance way and aesthetic requirement.Therefore,I could further seek for the creation path which is with a strong audibility and rich stage performance,meanwhile,conforms to the new aesthetic requirement.The work is on MAX/MSP platform and Guzheng live play expression form.The article focuses on explaining encountered problems and solutions during the authoring process in regard to the work,such as the relevance and audibility between the original timbre of Guzheng and the processed sound by equipment.In addition,under the interactive situation,it is important about if the recombination and new expression form of traditional Guzheng melody structure could be well expressed aesthetically from the voice and vision.Meanwhile,the article also involves in the conception and experimentation for MAX relative program.
