"Qin-X" modal words often appear in spoken and written Chinese.Because of their similar meanings and usages,Chinese learners are prone to confusion in the process of using them,so it has attracted much attention in recent years.Judging from the existing research results on "Qin-X" modal words, most of them stay in the ontological research, and there is no research on learners’ acquisition of such modal words. In view of this, this paper takes Beijing Language and Culture University BCC Corpus as the source of modern Chinese corpus, four Chinese interlanguage corpora as the source of Chinese interlanguage corpus, and seven Qin-X words "Qin Er" "Qin Bi" "Qin Yan" "Qin Kou" "Qin Shou" "Qin Shen" and "Qin Zi" as the research objects, and makes quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis on learners’ acquisition of these words, and tries to put forward corresponding teaching suggestions. This paper first explores the ontological differences between the seven modal words in the "Qin-X" category in terms of their semantics and collocation, and ranks the collocation breadth of the group V(Qin Er)< V(Qin Bi)< V(Qin Yan)< V(Qin Kou)< V(Qin Shou)< V(Qin Shen)< V(Qin Zi),and compares the collocation differences in groups.Secondly,i compare the distribution of "Qin-X" modal verbs with verbs in different types of modern Chinese and Chinese mediated corpora. It is inferred that the same high-frequency collocations in the two types of corpora may be the parts that have been acquired by learners of Chinese second language, while the different high-frequency collocations are the parts that have not been acquired by learners or have been acquired less effectively, and this inference is verified in the later study.Based on the example sentences extracted from the corpus,i then analysed the acquisition of the "Qin-X" category by Chinese learners and summarised the types of errors that occurred. The number of mis-substitution errors was negatively correlated with word differences, with more mis-substitution errors occurring when word differences were small and less when word differences were large. In the case of mispairing errors, there is a strong correlation between the differences in the collocation of "Qin-X" modal words in the two types of corpus, with fewer errors occurring for the same high-frequency collocations and more errors occurring for different high-frequency collocations. Finally, the causes of the errors are discussed in terms of the manner words themselves and the internal and external factors that influence learners’ acquisition, and suggestions are made for the teaching of these words in terms of teachers, syllabus distribution and textbook development.
