Study On The Singing Of Three Classical Aria Of The Henan Opera "Hua Mulan"

In China’s long traditional opera culture,many excellent operas with different styles were born.Henan Henan Opera is one of the important ones,and "Hua Mulan" is a classic representative of this kind of opera.Led by Chang Xiangyu,a Henan opera master,Hua Mulan tells the story of a heroine who joins the army in her father’s place and returns triumphantly.The author will take three representative passages in the play--"Daddy’s disease is getting better these days","Women are not as good as children" and "Mulan shy answer to the worship" as the research object,to analyze its singing characteristics and singing methods.These three passages represent the heroine’s three different life stages in the play,completing the transformation of three different identities: innocent girl(female),courageous soldier(female disguised as a man),mature woman(female).As a student majoring in music performance vocal music,the author hopes to grasp the singing style of Henan Opera gradually and clearly in the singing analysis of these 3passages,and on this basis think about the reference of singing methods of Henan Opera to national vocal music singing.I also hope that through the analysis,I can better understand the figure of Hua Mulan and how to perform the figure more comprehensively in her singing.
