Study On Special Characters Of Chinese Toponyms In Sichuan And Chongqing

The study of the general names of geographical names is an important topic in the study of geographical names.The distribution of different characters with common names reflects the division of historical and cultural areas,geographical and cultural areas and dialect areas.The standard of the general name of geographical names is an important content of the standard of geographical names.The standardized treatment of the general name is different from that of the proper name,and the unity should be emphasized.However,such treatment will ignore the natural geographical characteristics,historical and cultural characteristics and dialect differences of each place.This paper takes the special characters of Chinese geographical names in Sichuan and Chongqing area as the research object,combines the knowledge of philology,lexicology,toponymy,geography and other related disciplines,uses econometric statistics,descriptive analysis,comparative analysis and investigation methods to investigate the special font and special pronunciation of the geographical names in Sichuan and Chongqing,and finds out the problems existing in the general names of geographical names in Sichuan and Chongqing with the help of existing Chinese character norms.In order to provide suggestions for solving various non-standard phenomena of place names.In Sichuan-Chongqing area,there are more special characters in the general names of physical geographical entities,but relatively few special characters in the general names of human geographical entities.In the special form,it is found that there are a lot of different characters in the general names of Sichuan-Chongqing geographical names,mainly due to different sounds and different shapes.In a group of different characters,the use frequency of some different characters is similar but the distribution area is different,the use frequency of some different characters is far different from the distribution area,and the use frequency of some different characters is crossed with the distribution area,so the incorrect and abbreviated characters should be restored.For the characters with different characters that are difficult to confirm,consider expanding the scope of research(such as the southwest region and the southern region).In addition,some rare characters in the general names of Sichuan and Chongqing are widely used in Sichuan and Chongqing,and some rare characters are also different characters,which should be studied to determine their shape,sound and meaning and standardize their identity.In the special pronunciation,there are ancient pronunciation,local pronunciation and different pronunciation in the general names of Sichuan and Chongqing,among which the situation of different pronunciation is more complicated,there are white pronunciation and shape near different pronunciation.The ancient and local pronunciation in the general name should be protected,and the reasons for the different pronunciation in the general name should be determined and the corresponding normative measures should be taken.
