| Nowadays,there is a mature analysis system for the study of aesthetic comparison between literature and traditional opera,and some experts pay attention to the field of studying the adaptation of literary works by taking individual cases as the object of analysis.However,there are few theoretical documents analyzing the adaptation of literary classics of Huangmei Opera from the perspective of the adaptation as a whole and the category of Huangmei art,and most of them are currently in the study of traditional opera and the commentary of the repertoire.No detailed research system has been formed.In this paper,the adaptation of literary classics of Huangmei Opera is taken as the object of examination and observation.Through a comprehensive review of the adaptation history of different genres of Huangmei opera,such as novel,drama,prose,poetry and opera,this paper adopts the method of combination of macro induction and case study,and relies on the author’s adaptation practice: The Lady Returns to the Hometown,a new drama of Huangmei Opera,to explore the methods,characteristics and significance of the adaptation of Huangmei Opera.The first part is the introduction,which mainly covers the research ideas and methods,and summarizes the significance and value of this topic in the review of the relevant studies of opera adaptation under different perspectives.The second part discusses the adaptation methods and characteristics of Huangmei Opera literary classics from macroscopic and microscopic perspectives.The third part takes the practice and exploration of the new Huangmei Opera The Return of the Lady as an example,analyzes the motivation and method of adaptation,and makes clear the innovative highlights in the new drama by comparing with Wu Qiong’s Huangmei musical The Return of the Lady.The fourth part discusses the enlightenment of the adaptation of classics to the creation of traditional Chinese opera,and explores the adaptation of literary classics of Huangmei Opera,which can give consideration to the spirit of the original work and modernism at the same time,in order to complete the contemporary continuation of literary classics.The fifth part summarizes the shortcomings of the adaptation of Huangmei Opera and looks forward to the extension of its prospects. |
