Research On The Design Of The Bionic Porcelain Pillows In Tang And Song Dynasties

Based on the perspective of design,this paper takes the bionic porcelain pillows in Tang and Song dynasties as the research object;adopts archaeological typology,literature research,image analysis,case study,and interdisciplinary research methods;collects historical and archaeological literature related to bionic porcelain pillows;sorts the category morphology and design features of bionic porcelain pillows;explains the technological features of bionic porcelain pillows;and explores the cultural spirit behind the diversified shapes and decorations from form to connotation,while progressively reveals the excellent creation thoughts in the bionic porcelain pillows from form to connotation.After the definition of the research object and category,the basic situation of the current research status,aims,significance,methods,and innovation viewpoints are elaborated,and research on the design of bionic porcelain pillows in Tang and Song Dynasties is carried out from the following five aspects: Firstly,the origin of bionic porcelain pillows is studied,the constraints affecting its design are summarized,the development history of bionic porcelain pillow modeling is clarified,and the modeling and cultural origin of various types of bionic porcelain pillows are traced.Secondly,based on the image categories of the bionic porcelain pillows,their typical features are classified,and their types were subdivided according to the morphological differences of their components,so as to establish the pedigree classification.In addition,based on the functional attributes,its artful configuration in timeliness,agreeableness,and amenity are also analyzed.Thirdly,the unearthed sites of the bionic porcelain pillows are counted,the features of the bionic porcelain pillows unearthed from various kilns are summarized,and the molding,decoration,and loading and firing process are elaborated step by step with the flow chart.Furthermore,from the perspective of commodity attributes,the regularity of the production process of the bionic porcelain pillows is concluded.Fourthly,the surface and block decoration of the bionic porcelain pillows are classified,and the aesthetic implication of the bionic porcelain pillows in modeling,pattern,humanity,art,and mathematics are summarized.Finally,the creation thoughts of the bionic porcelain pillows in Tang and Song dynasties are summarized as making objects with images,showing images for expounding meanings and leaving nothing to be desired.Provide theoretical basis and methodological references for biomimetic thinking,emotional thinking,and visual thinking required for modern design.Based on the unique research perspective of “bionics”,this paper interprets the humanistic connotation through the creation representation and gives a new understanding and grasp of the folk bionics concept of creation.It provides some reference ideas for the study of the traditional bionic artifact,as well as the theoretical basis and method reference for modern bionic design.
