With the changes of the political and economic pattern in the Asia-Pacific region,The concept of "Indo-Pacific" has emerged and become a geo-hot word in the field of international relations.However,there are huge differences on the geographical definition and the cognition of specific strategic connotation of the "Indo-Pacific" concept,and various circles hold different opinions on the validity and stability of the concept.In view of this,this paper will analyze the stability of the concept of "Indo-Pacific".This study takes official documents and foreign policies issued by government departments related to the "Indo-Pacific" as the basic data sources,supplemented by relevant research reports,policy suggestions and statements of important officials from think tanks of various countries.This paper sets three indicators,including geographical basis,great power competition and strategic stability,as well as the legitimacy and acceptance of the order,to explore the concrete foundation for maintaining the concept.Then combining with the latest policy cases,it systematically analyzes the development trend of several index factors and observes the development prospect of the concept of "Indo-Pacific".Among them,the geographical basic indicator covers the political,economic,security three levels.The index of Great power competition and strategic stability focuses on the strategic competition between China and the United States.According to the relevance of the research topics,six parties,including Japan,Australia,India,ASEAN,the European Union and China,are selected as research objects to analyze their attitudes and policy evolution of the "Indo-Pacific" concept.This paper holds that the geopolitical,economic and security foundation behind the concept of "Indo-Pacific" is relatively stable,which is the core of the formation of the concept.Based on this,the concept of "Indo-Pacific" has been constantly improving its recognition and existence in the international context of the competition between China and the United States as well as in the specific diplomatic and security practices between countries,gradually showing a trend of development from a single concept to a systematic strategy.The concept of "Indo-Pacific" is in the process of construction and development,and its concept sustenance has its special stability.
