At present,China’s comprehensive national strength is rapidly improving,and its economic and social development is in a major transition period.It is of great practical significance to build a socialist cultural power and implement the "going out" of Chinese culture.China and Laos are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers.The Confucius Institute at the National University of Laos is the first Confucius Institute opened by China in Laos.In recent years,with the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and international influence,Chinese culture has received more and more attention in Laos,and its spread has also expanded.But at the same time,there are many problems and challenges in the spread of Chinese culture in Laos.In the era of globalization,how to enhance the soft power of Chinese culture and expand the international influence of Chinese culture is one of the key points of the "going out" strategy of Chinese culture today.This article takes the teachers of Chinese as a foreign language at the Confucius Institute at the National University of Laos as the object,and from the perspective of cross-cultural communication,based on the research path of Braddock’s "7W" model,it analyzes the implementation of Chinese language teachers’ cross-cultural communication of Chinese culture in Laos as a whole.path.In-depth discussion on the communication environment,communication purpose,communication subject,communication content,communication channels,communication audience and communication effect of Chinese culture.It is found that teachers of Chinese as a foreign language play the role of a bridge for cultural exchanges between the two countries as the main body of Chinese culture communication.At the same time,there are problems such as poor Chinese talents,insufficient cultural literacy,and a single professional knowledge structure.In response to these practical problems,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures to improve the intercultural communication ability of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.Through this research,it is possible to explore the communication strategies of Chinese culture for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language,and hope to enrich related research on the development of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language and the strategies of cross-cultural communication of Chinese culture to a certain extent.
