| Located in Gongyi City,Henan Province,Kangbaiwan Manor was the residence of the Kang Baiwan family,a representative of Henan businessmen during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Kangbaiwan Manor was built in the Ming Dynasty and expanded and developed continuously in the Qing Dynasty.It is a building group with complete functions,rigorous layout and unique style.There are a large number of plaques and couplets in Kangbaiwan Manor,which are well preserved.They have various shapes and structures and various kinds,which have rich connotation and great value.As an important cultural heritage,the plaques and couplets in Kangbaiwan Manor witness the rise and fall of the Kangbaiwan family and record the deeds of generations of Kangbaiwan family.The Kangbaiwan family has experienced three stages of development: the initial boom period,the glorious boom period and the decline period.Kangbaiwan Manor has unique construction concept,reasonable layout and zoning,and has played different functions in the historical changes.According to the detailed quantitative statistics and chronological research on the inscribed inscribed relics distributed in various functional areas of the manor,we can know that there are 114 inscribed inscribed relics and 68 pairs of couplets in Kangbaiwan Manor.These cultural relics can be divided into two categories,the first type of chronological information can be checked,the second type of chronological information cannot be checked.Through text analysis of the cultural relics of Kangbaiwan Manor,we can conclude the profound cultural connotation.These cultural connotations include four aspects: business idea,family inheritance,personal quality and life perception.The cultural relics in Kangbaiwan Manor have the realistic value of historical materials,education and aesthetics.The development and utilization of cultural relics in Kangbaiwan Manor can be effectively promoted by improving the protection status,expanding publicity and promotion,intensifying research efforts,improving educational measures,and strengthening cultural and creative development. |
